2025 FLUSHING VALLEY SUMMER SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION

Join us for the 2025 swim season—be part of the Firebirds team!

Eligibility:

Open to children 5 years old by June 1 and who can swim one length of the pool.

Swimmers must not have reached their 19th birthday as of June 1 of the current season.

Children aged 6 and under must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted to participate.
Location: Flushing Valley Golf Club- 1124 E Main St, Flushing, MI 48433
Season Dates: May 29 – July 19, 2025
Practice Times:
Monday – Thursday: TBD AM OPTION AM & PM OPTIONS AVAILABLE
Tech Days Optional (Friday Mornings): To Be Announced (Learn New Strokes & Working on technique)
Swim Meets:
Evenings (Tuesdays and Thursdays) at various Genesee County Golf Clubs
Important Dates:
Parent Meeting & First Practice/Evaluation:
May 29
Parent Meeting: 5:00 PM
Practice & Evaluation: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Team Suits must be ordered by May 29.
All Fees must be paid by May 29.
Tuition Pricing:
Registration Before May 29: $300
Late Registration After May 29: $350

  • (Registration at the Parent Meeting will be charged an extra $50) CASH ONLY AT THIS TIME
Additional Costs:
Team Suit, Swim Cap, & Goggles
(Cost for suit and equipment not included in registration fee)

Refund Policy:
No Refunds on registration payments at any time.
Payment Details:
Tuition is due by the first practice (May 29) – Zero exceptions!
Preferred Payment: Cash 
VENMO accepted (with additional fee)

MEET THE BOARD OF  FLUSHING VALLEY SWIM ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT:  COURTNEY BARBER Courtney Barber became the President and CEO of Flushing Valley Swim Association in August of 2022. Over the course of her career she has held many badges, stay at home mom, medical assistant, safety officer and now a sports business executive. Courtney has held leadership positions in many ways in her life, as a captain of the SVSU Women's Lacrosse team 2005 & 2006, as well as a mini mayor back in her childhood days. As far as sports she was on the Flushing/ Swartz Creek Swimming and Diving team and brought home the Diving Big 9 championship in 2004. She also was a lifelong softball player playing Varsity three of the four high school years for Flushing. In her role as a single mother of four, she has coached, soccer, baseball, t-ball and gymnastics.
